My Story

I am a graduate from Oregon State University where I studied to be an elementary school teacher.  While I never stepped foot into a primary classroom, my sales journey ultimately led me to professional development and leadership, where I got to develop my craft in training classrooms and boardrooms.  I felt so passionate in those roles, I earned the highest level of education and graduated with my PhD in Organizational Development and Leadership in 2017.  At that time, I had been working as a remote employee for almost 10 years, therefore, I wrote my dissertation on how remote employees make sense of their work environment.  

As a certified coach through Coach U and a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF).  I follow and demonstrate ethical guidelines to uphold the standards of coaching.  As the owner and founder of Square 1 Coaching I will serve individuals through one on one and group coaching. The purpose and vision is to help you find where you are stuck in your life and/or career, seek and awaken what fills you with joy, and inspire the next right steps toward action.

With all that is coming at us in this fast-paced world, having a coach that meets you where you are in your current situation is a must.  As your coach I will be your biggest cheerleader as you embark in your life and business goals.  I believe that your personal life spills so much into your business life that without coaching on both, there are important areas that will get missed.
